Park House started accepting applications from both male and female students from August 2017. The room allocation of the clusters flats will male only, female only or mixed. Please let us know your preference  when  applying.

No. But to secure your room you will need to pay an upfront payment of £300. This is a  £75 admisitration fee and an upfront rent payment of £225.00.

You will need to make this payment upon receiving confirmation of the room booking. If the payment is not received within the agreed period, your booking will not be secured and the room will be allocated to the next person on the waiting list.

This paymemt will be credited to your final rent installment and is non refundable should you change your mind about staying with us or decide to leave the accommodation early without paying in full. For more information please refer to the terms and conditions in your contract.

A full time student status can vary from individual to individual, dependant on various factors such as their HEI or FE acceptance confirmation (e.g. number of courses/papers taken) and personal circumstances if applicable (e.g. number of hours they are working which may be restricted due any work permit requirements in place).  Your HEI or FE institution should be able to confirm this for you.

The standard room size is 2.27m x 3.45m

In most cases it will be possible for you to arrive early but this will depend on the room you are moving in to and when it will be available. It is best to check with the office as soon in advance as possible. If it is not possible to move you in to your room early we may be able to find another room for the short term or allocate you a temporary room in one of our sister properties. In all cases a charge will be made for the additional days.

Parking is not readily available in the surrounding streets so it is best not to bring your car. The site is very close to the tube station and on several major bus routes so getting around shouldn’t be a problem.

On arrival you will be asked to pay the first instalment of your rent and the following instalments will be due as per stated on your contract. You must make sure that your rent instalments are always paid on time.
We accept payments by debit card, credit card or BACS. We do not accept payment by cash.
There are several ways to pay your rent and the office staff will be happy to talk these through with you to help you find the one which suits you best.

Telephones are not provided in the rooms but the building does have a payphone you can use.

If you are going away on holiday, you will still have to pay your rent to cover this period.

Yes, internet Wi-Fi access is available throughout the building and is provided free of charge. Our internet provider, Glide Students offers an up to 50Mbps base service with an option to upgrade to a 100Mbps service at an additional cost.



You will need to bring all the equipment you require for the kitchen and if you are here for a long time then most residents prefer to bring their own bedding to make the room more personal.

Yes, all communal areas, i.e. kitchens, bathrooms, shower rooms, toilets and communal seating areas are cleaned daily. However, residents are expected to clean their own rooms and clean and tidy the communal areas after they use them.

There is a basic grocery opposite the residence and several other shops and supermarkets within a few minutes walk.

Park House is a non-smoking building therefore smoking is not allowed anywhere in the premises.

Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight but we offer (subject to availability) a reduced friend & family rate in a separate room.

Your rent includes insurance with Endsleigh Insurance Services, it provides some cover for the contents inside your room. You don’t need to do anything to activate this cover, but it is important for you to check and ensure that you fully understand the protection provided and whether it is sufficient for your needs.
